INTRODUCTION

The Economics Students' Society, HKUSTSU, was founded in 1992 with the primary objective of promoting the interests of economics students. It is a non-profit making, student run body that is affiliated to the Department of Economics and Student Union. Over the years, the Society has grown from strength to strength and has developed into one of the largest departmental societies boasting a diverse membership of over 600 students, with a large proportion of those majoring in Economics.

Work hard, play hard is our prime belief. The Society will always aim to provide an all-round education and strike a healthy balance between work and play through its various functions, so that through participation in these functions, members would be prepared for and be in touch with the business world whilst having fun in the process.

香港科技大學學生會經濟學系學生會於1992年成立，致力推廣經濟系學生的興趣。我們是一間學生營運且非牟利的系會，並隸屬香港科技大學經濟學系及香港科技大學學生會。在過去幾十年間，我們已成為科技大學最龐大的學系學生會之一，擁有超過600名會員，當中大多數亦主修經濟學。

「努力工作，盡情玩樂 」是我們的信念。我們旨在為會員提供一個全方位的學習環境，並透過舉辦不同活動令大家可以在學業和玩樂間取得平衡。在舉辦這些活動時，會員亦可在裝備自己和暸解商業世界運作時，玩得盡興。
